Remington 788

The Remington 788 is a bolt-action hunting rifle produced from 1967 to 1983. Despite being marketed as an affordable model, it is valued for its accuracy. Chambered in .222 Remington, the rifle uses a four-round detachable box magazine. It has a distinctive rear-lugged bolt with a short 60° lift for smooth cycling and easy scope use. Its rigid receiver design enhances precision, making it popular among varmint hunters and target shooters.
